thank you for following me! it really means a lot to awkward tammie :’)
HAVE A FUNTASTIC SUMMER!!!
(i would insert a doodle here but i packed away my tablet in storage @@)
so instead of swearing/saying “omg”, i say “ompong” instead (or “oh my pong”), and my friends made use of it in a Draw Something game…
MY MIND IS EXPLODING FROM AWESOMENESS
IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED IT
WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH LIFE
a little inspirational (?) thingamajig for those who don’t realize how beautiful and wonderful they are!! :3 (anyone else a fan of fruits basket? :D)
also: (y) to my friend’s comment - “alternatively, tear through your chest until you reach the pickled plum”
the people make the dorms. i’m in low rises, which is kind of sad in comparison to the other pretty dorms like mews, but i insist this is the best :3
town houses are the farthest from central campus, but its like a little house of your own which can be pretty neat. low rises are the next-farthest, a little old but decent; the rooms are suite-style, so you share a bathroom with your suitemates and get a kitchenette and main lounge you share with your unite-mates. (holland international living center is pretty much a low rise) the high rises (including Jameson) are a little cramped in my opinion, but physical quality-wise similar to the low rises. Balch is for girls-only, and i’ve never been inside, but i know singles are pretty spacious, and it’s really pretty outside! it’s also nearest to central campus. Dickson and Donlon are halls, so you share a big bathroom with multiple stalls and cubicles with the section on your floor, and they’re somewhat decent; Donlon has more study-lounge-space i think though! the prettiest (and newest) are Mews and court-kay-bauer which are PRETTY DARN PRETTY! they’re arranged like halls, but bathrooms are shared between a few rooms rather than a giant one for a whole floor.
they’ve all got their ups and downs, but i must admit that cornell is somewhat inconsistent with housing quality :\ none are too small, though, i think (i’m in a forced-triple, that is, a double with three people, but we’ve got space enough!); if you’re lazy, balch/mews/courtkaybauer/dickson is a shorter walk to class, though low rises/high rises are nearer to the north campus dining halls.
OH AND ALSO you will see deer prancing around!! hahaha
hmm yep! i hope that helps! @@ welcome to cornell! :3
